This policy describes how personal information collected on cathoscan.com is processed, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

  • Contact form : your email address and the message content you voluntarily submit via the About page.
  • Navigation data (with your consent) : truncated IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, visit duration, preferred language.
  • Cookies : a technical cookie stores your language and consent preference; if you consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are added.

3. Purposes

  • Respond to requests sent via the contact form;
  • Measure site traffic (with consent only);
  • Remember your preferences (language, consent).

No advertising is displayed on the site. No data is sold or used for profiling.

4. Third parties

  • Formspree, Inc. (United States) — contact form processing. Policy.
  • Google LLC (United States) — Google Analytics 4 (with consent only). Policy.

All technical libraries, fonts and icons used by the site are hosted on our own servers. No resources are loaded from any third-party content delivery network (CDN).

5. Transfers outside Quebec

The above providers are based in the United States. In accordance with Section 17 of the Act, a privacy impact assessment was carried out before the transfer, considering the (low) sensitivity of the data, the purpose, and the applicable legal regime.

6. Retention period

  • Analytics data: 14 months.
  • Consent preference: 12 months (browser).

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, withdrawal of consent, de-indexing and portability. To exercise them, write to the privacy officer at miguelmorin@gmail.com. You will receive a response within 30 days.

8. Security and incidents

The site is delivered over HTTPS. In the event of an incident involving a serious risk of harm, affected individuals and the Quebec Commission d'accès à l'information will be notified. An incident register is kept for at least five years.
